Grits and honey: the South has always known how to treat you right.

What it is
A gentle, hydrating facial scrub that pairs real corn grits with honey. The grits polish away dull, dead surface cells; the honey hydrates and conditions so the whole experience stays kind to your skin. One of our original recipes, and customers still call it the best scrub they have ever used.

Who it's for
Skin that looks dull, feels rough, or takes serums unevenly. It is especially good for mature skin that needs regular exfoliation but cannot tolerate harsh scrubs or stinging acids. If a scrub has ever scratched or stripped you, this is the gentle Southern alternative.

Why this works, concern by concern
Exfoliation only works if you actually do it twice a week. That means it has to be gentle, and gentle means the right polish with hydration built in.

To Polish Gently

The problem: dead surface cells pile up, so skin looks dull and feels rough.

  • Real Corn Grits polish away dull surface buildup with soft, rounded grains, never sharp-edged, revealing the fresher, younger-looking skin underneath.
To Hydrate While You Exfoliate

The problem: most scrubs take your moisture along with the dead cells.

  • Honey conditions and draws moisture to the skin while helping loosen the debris in pores, so your face finishes soft, never stripped.
And to Protect

The finish: newly polished skin deserves defending.

  • Vitamin E delivers antioxidant protection, keeping the fresh glow you just uncovered guarded against the day.

What it's like to use
Apply a small amount to wet, clean skin and massage gently over the face, neck, and chest. Leave it on for 3 minutes, letting the honey do its conditioning, then rinse with cool water. Use it 2 to 3 times a week. The all-natural contents may settle between uses; give the jar a quick stir first.

Questions, answered

How often should I use it?
Two to three times a week is the sweet spot. Exfoliation is one of those places where more is not better; the skin you polish needs a day or two to show off before the next round.
Is it too rough for sensitive or mature skin?
It was built for exactly that worry. Corn grits are naturally rounded, the honey cushions every pass, and you control the pressure. Customers who describe their skin as easily upset tell us this is the one scrub they can use consistently.
Wait, real grits?
Real corn grits, the same humble Southern staple, here doing its finest work yet. Corn makes a soft, even polishing grain, which is precisely what facial skin wants, and we will take any excuse to put grits and honey together.
How long does a jar last?
At a small scoop two to three times a week, a 2 oz jar typically carries you about two months, which works out to roughly $3 a week for spa-grade polishing at home.
